8/29/06 - At 20:52 hours 69 Units were alerted to 374 North Hanover Street for a
reported fire in the rear of that residence. Ladder 69 went on location reporting smoke
condition to the rear of the property and was attempting to locate the source. It was
determined to be a cigarette burning on a plastic shelf that caught on to a pile of rubbish.
The fire was quickly extinguished with a water can. Units were cleared at 21:15 hours by
Chief 69-A (Campeggio).
9/11/06 - At 22:03 hours 69 units were dispatched to 556 Farmington Avenue for a
reported apartment fire. County came back stating that the building was evacuated and
there was flames showing from the bedroom window. Deputy 69-D (Saylor) switched
operations to Fireground upon arrival. Ladder 69 went on location reporting a working
fire. Squirt 69 hit the hyrdrant at Farmington Avenue and East Street at the corner.
Crews pulled off handlines and started to enter from the side and the rear of the building.
Crews weren't really getting anywhere after a few minutes. FF Smale  called for a
handline to the front of the building where the crew from North End (FF Durchin)&(FF
Labant) pulled a handline off Squirt 69 and made entry to the front of the building where
(FF Major) forced the door for them so they could get into the fire room and try to get a
better attack on the fire. Crews opened up and had a good knock on the fire. Massive
overhaul was done after the fire was knocked down and crews hit some hot spots to
make sure it was out. 69 Units were cleared by Pottstown 5 (Lengel) at 00:47 hours.         
                            
10/6/06 - At 9:47 hours 69 Units were alerted to Prospect & Evans Street for a reported
car fire. Squirt 69 went on location reporting a working car fire. A line was pulled and a
knock was put on the car. Rescue 69 used hydraulic tools to pop the hood. The fire was
contained to the engine compartment. Units cleared at 10:38 hours.
11/15/06 - At  23:07 hours 69 Units were dispatched to 38 Reynolds Ave. for a reported
garage fire. FP69-12 went on location reporting a working fire. Chief 69-B confirmed the
working fire . Pottstown 5 struck the 2nd alarm to cover the stations. 69 Units were
cleared by Pottstown 5 at 2:00 hours.
12/25/06 - At 7:23 Air 69 2879 Shire Drive to assist Company 58 at a working dwelling
fire.  The air unit approximately filled 15-20 air cylinders. AIR 69 was recalled by AC-69D
at 9:52 hours.
12/26/06 - At 19:52 hours AIR 69 responded to #07 Furnance Street in Birdsboro, Pa
and assisted Berks Station 7 with filling air cylinders. They approximately filled 35 air
cylinders. AIR 69 was cleared at 21:16 hours.
12/27/06 - At 9:35 hours units were dispatched to High and Hanover Street for a
underground switching station on fire. Units cleared at 11:25 hours
